Product & Process Description:
Most of the base materials used in our application process are imported from overseas. They are comprised of many different types of ground-metal, including bronze, copper, aluminium, steel and brass to name but a few, in addition to other materials such as graphite and tetra-micas. The highly modified carrying agents constitute an ideal medium, and when mixed with the metal powders, provide a uniform, equal-distribution of the metals such that, once cured, the finish is that of the base metal-powder. We also employ epoxy-resins as a top-coat giving some finishes a “glass-like” appearance.

Material Qualities:
Longevity: Ground metal powders, being true-metals, and our modified carrying-bases, carry a warranty, as detailed below, of 5 years under normal circumstances and under normal usage.
Accelerated Weathering Tests conducted in Sydney, Australia, have indicated that the life-span of our metal-coatings can exceed 12 years, with no visible sign of material-deterioration.
Fire-ret ardency: CSIRO and NATA have conducted tests on our process in accordance with Australian Standard 1530.3-1989, specifically identified as Simultaneous Determination of Ignitability, Flame Propagation, Heat Release and Smoke Release. The results, in summary form, were as follows:
